This is my favourite costume theme. There's so much colour and life and fun, both in burlesque shows and in the costumes. And of course it's a fancy dress theme that will make the most of your figure and make you feel fabulous!
There's so much scope within the theme of burlesque. It's all about over-the-top entertainment so if you want to be a lion tamer then go ahead! That said, with the availability of fabulous can-can, moulin-rouge and saloon-girl costumes out there you can be sure to cause an entrance. Here's a selection of the most popular costumes from each of these categories, you'll find more in the menus to the left.
In this site I've sorted through various fancy dress suppliers and also corset suppliers and lingerie suppliers to give you a wide choice of burlesque costumes whether you're going to a one-off event or you're a regular burlesque club goer.
